Biography
Özlem Ataoğlu received her B.S. degree in psychology from Bilkent University and her graduate degree in health psychology from University of Southampton, UK. She worked in Ufuk Üniversitesi Dr. Rıdvan Ege Hastanesi and Özel Boylam Psikiyatri Hastanesi with psychiatric outpatients and inpatients. While working in Özel Boylam Psikiyatri Hastanesi, she also ran the summer school for psychology undergraduate students as the coordinator, trainer and supervisor of the program. She was the instructor of Clinical Psychology at Bilkent University (Fall, 2016), Clinical Psychology II: Observation and Interviewing Techniques and Basic Therapy Techniques at Çankaya University (Spring & Summer, 2017). Currently, she is running her own clinic, gives trainings in clinical psychology field and works as part time instructor at Bilkent Uniersity, teaches Individual Differences and Personality and Psychological Testing and Measurement classes.
Research Interests
Cognitive – behavioural therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Personality Disorders, Mood Disorders, Eating Disorders, OCD, PTSD.
