Two papers accepted from CCN Lab to ACM/IEEE International Conference on Human-Robot Interaction!

Senior students Ilayda Guneysu, Begum Cerrahoglu and Selin Yilmaz’s conference paper is accepted to ACM/IEEE International Conference on Human-Robot InteractionDr. Burcu Aysen Urgen who has supervised the project in Cognitive Computational Neuroscience Lab will present the results in Cambridge, UK, between 23-26th March. The paper’s title is “Do robots distract us as much as humans? The effect of human-like appearance and perceptual load”. 

Also, Imge Saltik, a former Psychology undergraduate (now an MS student in Neuroscience), Batuhan Hokelek, a senior student, and Busra Sarigul’s conference paper is accepted to ACM/IEEE International Conference on Human-Robot Interaction! Dr. Burcu Aysen Urgen and Busra Sarigul will present the results in Cambridge, UK, between 23-26th March. The paper’s title is “Does the appearance of an agent affect how we perceive his/her voice? Audio-visual predictive processes in human-robot interaction”.
